How to View Test Execution Reports in DoingERP KairosFS Functional Suite

Welcome to this guide on how to view and analyze test execution reports in the DoingERP Kos QA application. By following these steps, you can effectively monitor the status of your test cases and identify any issues.

Step 1: Understanding Test Execution Status

When running any test case, it is essential to know whether it has passed or failed. The status of each test case can be reviewed to see the exact step where it succeeded or failed.

Step 2: Viewing Recent Test Execution Results

After executing a test case:

– Navigate to the bottom of the dashboard page.

– You will find the “Recent Run Test Execution” section.

– This section displays the overall status of each executed test case in the *Status* column.

Step 3: Example – Global HR Test Case

For example, if you executed the “Global HR Promotion” test case:

– If the test case failed, you will see two options:

  1. *View Video:* Watch the live execution of the test case.
  2. *Download Excel Report:* Click on this option to download the detailed report.

Step 4: Analyzing the Excel Report

Once you have downloaded the report and opened it, you can review the following details:

– *Test Case Name:* The name of the executed test case.

– *Test Status:* Indicates whether the test case has passed or failed.

– *Overall Status:* If the status is “Fail,” it means at least one step in the test case failed.

Step 5: Detailed Component Analysis

The report will provide information on each executed component:

– *Test Steps:* The sequence of steps for the component.

– *Action Details:* Specific actions performed during the test.

– *Test Data:* Data used during the test, such as usernames and passwords.

Step 6: Identifying Failures

– If all components are marked as “Passed,” the test case is successful.

– If any component shows a failure (e.g., “Direct Repo”), review the failure details.

– You can pinpoint the exact step of failure by clicking the provided link in the report. This link will display an image highlighting the step where the issue occurred.

Step 7: Accessing Test Case Results

Please note that you must log in with your credentials to access detailed test case results and reports.

    Conclusion

By following this process, you can efficiently track test case statuses, identify reasons for failures, and improve your test execution process.
